Poinsettia Bowl Tail Gate Party
On December 23rd 2008 LSW Inc treated over 125 of their clients to the most exciting Poinsettia Football Bowl game to date! It was the biggest non-BCS Bowl game in Bowl Season 2008 matching Boise State vs. Texas Christian University. An intriguing match-up between two teams ranked in the top 11 and was expected to be one of the most competitive and exciting of all the bowl games. Both teams were exceptionally well coached as well as determined for a victory. TCU's offense and Boise State's offense got all the attention throughout the year but it wasn't as if either team was a slouch on the other side of the ball. TCU had the 29th best offense and Boise State the 16th best defense in the Country! The pre-game festivities included a carne asada catered tail-gate party in a reserved section of Qualcomm Stadium. Tables and heaters were set up, a football game broke out, but all the activity seemed to always be centered at the mobile Kitchen brought in by the caterer from the Palm Springs area. The food was so delicious, he booked three parties for LSW Inc's clients on the spot!
Once the game got under way, both teams did not disappoint the fans with great play on both sides of the ball. The game went back and forth with each team taking the lead and holding on to it. In the end TCU had a little too much fire power and won it on a last minute drive! The final score was TCU 17, Boise State 16.
Thanks to everyone who attended and we hope to see everyone again for Poinsettia Bowl 2009!
